One of the many outcomes of the present Lockdown restrictions, as we have discussed in some of our recent Blogs, has been the opportunity to spend more time indulging in our hobbies and passions. From gardening to DIY, we have been searching for ideas and inspiration to improve our homes and gardens. To respond to this trend, we have been sharing some of our best photography, from our top 10 orangery projects of the past year to our most popular paint colours for garden rooms.

What are your Home & Garden Goals this Summer?

Whilst the 1st of June marks the start of Summer from a meteorological perspective, it certainly feels like it started early with the spell of nice weather we enjoyed through much of April and May. With our driest ever Spring, our gardens (and farmers) will have welcomed the rain that we have experienced this week, making them all the more vibrant to view from the comfort of an orangery or conservatory.

What Has The UK Been Up To During Lockdown?

In previous articles, we have written and analysed some of the trends that have started to emerge during Lockdown and considered those which we think might carry on in future. From increasing use of virtual meetings and home working in general, to our changing media consumption, much has and will continue to change. Amongst much of the negative Covid-19 news, we hope some positive aspects, such as appreciating our homes, gardens and surrounding areas will continue.
