In these times of what feels like unusually high levels of snow and bad weather, we are certainly glad of the comforts of our home environment. The current weather has brought us the unprecedented occurrence of two red weather levels in different parts of the country over the past two days.

Here at David Salisbury, it is not about the size of the project that gets our creative juices flowing, but how the customer will use their new space and how effectively the new extension blends with their existing home.
A common perception is that an orangery or an oak framed building requires a large amount of space and only suits a substantial property (or host building to use the technical terminology).

Working from the comfort of your Orangery

Working from home in your conservatory

As it is Friday and thoughts turn to the weekend, it got us thinking about those of us whom are lucky enough to be able to work at home. 
According to the Office for National Statistics, well over four million now work regularly at home – which is approaching 15% of the entire UK workforce. Astonishingly, the figure has increased by some 45% since the turn of the century.
