Enjoying this Oak Orangery by Day or Night

It is always a pleasure photographing the huge variety of bespoke orangeries and garden rooms we are very fortunate enough to work on, one of the many benefits of the extremely high levels of customer satisfaction that we continue to be able to report, year on year.

Whilst most of our photoshoots tend to take place during the Summer months when the longer hours and sunnier days (fingers crossed!) create better conditions for photography, there is something about a rustic oak orangery that lends itself to an autumnal photoshoot.

With huge appreciation to our customer for the short notice shoot, our professional photographer Nick Carter was able to visit and take these atmospheric, seasonal shots which help tell the story of this oak orangery project.

Designed to work in sympathy with this period property in West Sussex, this oak orangery with its distinctive mansard style tiled roof measures five metres square, perfectly in proportion with the host building. It includes an overhead roof lantern to allow in plenty of natural light, whilst the French Doors provide convenient access to the picturesque garden.

This oak orangery is the latest successful design by John Baker, one of David Salisbury’s more experienced sales designers and part of our now expanded oak specialist sales team. Covering the South East, John has an eye for sympathetic design and is equally adept at designing our award-winning painted timber orangeries too.

This oak orangery has created a versatile living space, where our customer can enjoy a morning coffee or watch the sun going down whilst being that bit closer to the garden and outdoors.

If you’re thinking about extending your home to add more space and value, as opposed to moving, let us explain the benefits of a timber structure such as an orangery or garden room to you. We can do this via our complimentary home design service which we offer nationwide.

Proven to add significant value to your property, the additional space will become your favourite room at home – something our regular flow of positive customer reviews can confirm.

Will 2020 be the year you transform your home with an oak orangery or garden room from David Salisbury?
