New Manufacturing Manager

2 August 2012

Wes Kangurs has from the 1st August taken the helm of our high tech conservatory factory. Matthew Flamencourt is moving on after nearly five years as a Director of David Salisbury Joinery Limited. Matthew, who is a French national, is returning to France with his family after 9 years in the UK . He has accepted a senior position in a factory in Lyon making wheels and sub frames for railway rolling stock where he will be responsible for 600 employees.

I know that all the staff at David Salisbury wish him every success for the future and I am grateful to him for all the dedicated hard work he has put in over the years, as well as the advances he has made in organisation and culture in our factory. While it is sad to see Matthew go, I appreciate he is leaving at a good time for the company, when we are growing strongly and on an even keel.

I am very happy to welcome Wes who has been shadowing Matthew for the last month and is now keen to get stuck in and make is own contribution to taking us to the next level.
