Gin & Jazz makes networking fun!
19 October 2018
One of the many benefits of having a showroom in London at The Chelsea Gardener is the wide variety of opportunities that arise that from our presence there as well as our association with the related businesses on site.
Our twin showroom structures play an important part in our retail success story but also an increasingly vital role in growing our commercial business. This can be anything from presenting to architects in our modern garden room showroom through to demonstrating the domed lantern roof in our traditional orangery, which forms a focal point for The Chelsea Gardener itself.
We also host regular business networking events, for architects, interior designers and property industry professionals, alongside the other businesses on site which include Popinjay Bespoke Joinery and The Landscape Gardener.
Last night’s Gin & Jazz networking event was the latest successful evening, showing that industry get-togethers like these can be fun as well as good business!
We started our day by driving up to London for a meeting with one of our suppliers who worked on our stunning new brochure – if you haven’t requested your copy, you can do so here!
Where else to go for lunch other than The Chelsea Courtyard, a unique indoor and outdoor venue and sister business to The Chelsea Gardener? We can thoroughly recommend their coffee!
After a productive meeting, there was time for a catch up with the rest of our David Salisbury Commercial team before the Gin & Jazz got flowing.
Attending these events is always inspiring for the sheer variety of people that attend – from award-winning architects to interior designers and contractors involved in the commercial and residential property markets, in London, around the country and overseas.
We’re busy today following up the large number of new connections that we made, as well as re-acquainting ourselves with a number of older associates.
While the evening might have had a relaxed atmosphere to it, obviously the primary reason was to promote our respective businesses. Aside from all the connections, we will certainly look forward to building on our relationship with Popinjay Bespoke Joinery and explore how can work more closely with The Landscape Gardener.
On what seems an apt day for it, today is #internationalginandtonicday – now I wonder what everyone’s drinking tonight?
