Christmas Jumper Day 2017
15 December 2017
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, here at David Salisbury head office! We’re getting in the festive spirit with #christmasjumperday today.
Whilst we have been busy taking donations for Save The Children, we also took the opportunity to go round the office taking photos of each department.
It was hugely competitive between departments(!!) – the big question of the day is: which department made the best effort!?
In no particular order, we started with the Sales & Commercial office. Kudos to Joe Marsh, Acting Commercial Manager, for making his own Christmas jumper – showing there is no shortage of manufacturing skills here in Somerset! Karen Bell, Sales & Marketing Director, was clearly anticipating a sunny day with her Christmas specs!
Heading up to Customer Service and Installations, the festive spirit had definitely arrived in this office.
The CAD team certainly joined in the fun, with an exemplary effort from Martyn Hodges, Head of Design Realisation. Before we left the Technical Department, our 3D Design team made sure they didn’t miss out on the fun!
Whilst our Head of Supply Chain was on holiday today, Amy and Joe ensured Procurement was looking suitably festive.
The Accounts Team was certainly full of Christmas cheer, with Keane keeping the cold out with his Christmas hoody! Our Survey Department managed to get away from their busy desks just for a moment to join in.
Lastly, we managed to round up those we missed earlier, including Andrew Clarke, our new Manufacturing Manager, and Claire Byrne, our HR Advisor – for whom a big thanks must go for organising our Christmas Jumper Day.
As we write, donations for Save The Children were still coming in. Indeed, fundraising for charitable causes is something we will be concentrating on more next year – we look forward to sharing more details on this in the New Year.
We wish everyone a merry Christmas – and all those attending the David Salisbury Christmas party tonight, a suitably joyful occasion!
