This Orangery Says Time to Relax

This painted timber orangery in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside replaced an existing, smaller conservatory and instantly brought the outside closer to the inside of the home. With views and a garden like this, it is easy to see the inspiration for this home improvement project.

The orangery featured bi-fold doors which are an increasingly popular alternative to French Doors and help provide that feeling of inside/outside living that remains sought after. With the doors fully retracted, the indoor space simply flows into the outdoors.

The additional floor area created has allowed plenty of space for a selection of comfortable, relaxing furniture - ideal for today's modern living.

Another notable point to highlight in this case study is the quality of the 3D sales drawings, which are a standard feature of our complimentary design service and an area where we can confidently claim that we lead the market. The real-life impression provided by both the daytime and evening colour renders (the exterior shots in the slide show above) go above and beyond the more typical 2D line drawings that used to be the norm and provide a resounding endorsement for our investment in the latest drawing technologies.

The new orangery now forms a favourite living space at home, a room to savour whatever the time of day. That's always our aim here at David Salisbury: we create award-winning orangeries and garden rooms for you to enjoy.
