Orangery kitchen extension with matching windows

Client's Comment:

“We are delighted with the results of all the work. The design is so good and the 3D drawings were extremely helpful: they gave us great confidence going forward – you can hardly tell the difference from the actual photo to the end result!”

This orangery kitchen extension in London is typical of the type of whole house transformation for which David Salisbury excels and Eddie Spillane, one of our most experienced sales designers, has built a reputation for.

Designing a traditional orangery with a lantern roof and twin sets of French doors, opened this home right up, bringing the outdoors much closer to the indoors with an abundance of natural light. David Salisbury also supplied and fitted replacement timber window and exterior doors for the whole property – all painted in the same matching shade of Pavilion (from our own unique colour palette) to match the orangery.

The before and after photos really illustrate the transformative effect of this project. Spot our 3D colour rendered drawing (the evening shot) amongst the photos in the slide show above – we continuously invest in the quality of our sales presentation materials and this particular drawing is no exception. Buying a new orangery or conservatory is obviously a major decision so we always ensure our customers understand exactly what they can expect by providing the best quality drawings available on the market.

Replacing an older and much smaller conservatory with a larger orangery has created the additional floor space for a brand new freestanding kitchen. This orangery kitchen extension now provides the type of open plan living which remains so much in demand, allowing an area for some casual dining or relaxing on a favourite sofa.

Not content with transforming the interior of this property, replacing all of the exterior windows and doors has given the whole home a lift. The contemporary shade of grey gives an on-trend look that is both appealing and timeless. Clients were thinking of knocking down their house and re-building as the internal space was not working and externally it was not the most pleasant house on the road. They walked past 2 David Salisbury installations next door to each other and decided to call us to ask what we could do to transform both external and re-work internally.

Whilst adding an orangery to create space for a kitchen extension remains one of our most requested design briefs, replacement timber windows is an area of growth within our business. As just one of twenty four manufacturers who are members of the Wood Windows Alliance (WWA), the quality of our windows has been independently checked and audited.

A new orangery kitchen extension with matching timber windows certainly transformed this home!
