Wooden Orangery Kitchen Extension in Newbury

Client's Comment

"I never used to like cooking but now I can't seem to stay out of the kitchen."

A family in Newbury wanted to create a large orangery extension which would give them extra space for informal dining, plus a relaxed seating area.

What we have delivered fits perfectly into the available space and improves the overall appearance of this modern brick built house. By joining the two rooms it allows for people to circulate, the perfect formula for parties, family gatherings and entertaining.

Our customers wanted to achieve a free-flowing living and dining area to adjoin the kitchen which provides a spacious, open plan feel to the ground floor. The result is an extremely successful use of space and illustrates how a modern house can be enhanced by an elegant timber structure that draws reference from classic Georgian detailing.

David Salisbury provided a full turn-key operation, looking after the whole project from the initial design through to completion.
