This orangery in South West London combines space for a kitchen extension, along with a dining table and chairs and a living area, all in the type of open plan format that is so sought after nowadays.

OPEN PLAN ORANGERY
The new orangery added significantly to the overall floor area of this red brick property, allowing the kitchen to open up, with an island unit now extending into the new space.
The parquet flooring continued from the original part of the house into the new orangery extension, adding to the seamless feel that is a hallmark of all David Salisbury designs.

Twin sets of French Doors on each aspect of the orangery provide easy access to the outdoors, whilst vertical sliding sash windows add to the flexible ventilation options.
The large lantern roof with a gable not only continues the theme of adding abundant natural light but provides a striking central design feature. The timber windows with bespoke lattice work are another notable aspect of the design.
The ‘Flagstone’ paint finish, from our own colour palette, rounds off both the exterior and interior with a contemporary feel to what is a beautifully traditional painted timber orangery.
