This charming Grade II listed property in Wiltshire required planning permission and listed building consent, which David Salisbury successfully applied for on behalf of the client. Close attention was paid to match the colours and aesthetics to satisfy the planners and the listed officer.
This was the first conservatory designed with this particular feature gable design, and the the restricted height required careful surveying and accuracy to make the most of the limited space while ensuring that the conservatory roof had a high enough roof pitch.
This was a full turn-key operation, including all design work, building, and electrics through to completion. The timber work was painted in a ‘Mushroom’ colour which blends well with the natural Bath Stone of this cottage. The overall size is 4 x 3 metres.
