"The conservatory has made a complete difference to our lifestyle by bringing the garden into our home".
A customer in Eckington wanted to create something out of the ordinary. Our interpretation of an ambitious brief was a series of exciting new structures. The result is in-keeping with the original property, but gives an instant impact.
Whilst the addition of an orangery with a lantern roof was straightforward, the glazed atrium which leads to the striking octagonal conservatory was definitely a challenge.
The solution was to support the raised construction on steel supports that are clad in traditional lead. Full height panels to complement the orangery doors were used for the atrium and conservatory. To complete the look, lighting was introduced around the perimeter of both constructions.
This ambitious project was completed in just seven months from the signing of the contract to practical completion. This included full planning and building applications by David Salisbury.
