Now for time well spent at home

Whilst a great many of us have enjoyed the relative success of the England football team at the World Cup, alongside the long run of amazing weather in this country, it now seems we are reverting back to type.
Some rain has finally made an appearance, which is most welcome for farmers and gardeners alike, and the wait for football to “come home” carries on. While there are some certainties in life (rain and our sporting results), the other main event to dominate the news agenda this week is how uncertain the political environment now seems.

Getting On: Whatever The Weather!

Whilst the country has very much been basking in a heatwave for what feels a while now, here at David Salisbury, it means that working conditions can become more challenging, both out on site and in our factory in Somerset.

Even though Oscar Wilde once said, “conversation about the weather is the last refuge of the unimaginative,” as a country, we certainly like nothing better than talking about the latest forecast.
