Time Flies when….a review of the first half of 2019

Earlier this week, we enjoyed our latest quarterly sales meeting here at David Salisbury, where we had a chance to catch up with our industry leading designer team. There was much to discuss and reflect on during what has been a hugely positive first half of the year, manufacturing and installing our award-winning orangeries and garden rooms.

Keeping Cool This Weekend

In what might have felt like an endless period of wet weather, we can finally bask in some warm temperatures this weekend. Whilst we might not be experiencing the record highs that our neighbours in France in particular are sweltering in, this more pleasant weather is an ideal chance to open up some windows and doors and let in some air – and what better place to do so than in your orangery or garden room.

There is something incredibly timeless and natural about oak. As the only truly sustainable building material, timber has been used in construction for hundreds of years. But it is the durability and longevity of oak that makes it stand out as an ideal material for manufacturing orangeries or garden rooms.
