Having an orangery showroom located in the peaceful idyll that is the Chelsea Gardener, has simultaneously helped elevate the David Salisbury brand and increased awareness of our bespoke timber orangeries and garden rooms.
Located on Sydney Street, just off the well-known King’s Road, its location played a significant part in the decision to design and build a showroom in this particular position.
Aside from an opportunity to showcase our luxury building extensions, the orangery showroom also provides the type of multifunctional space that can be adapted for a number of different purposes or requirements.
Here are just a few examples of how this freestanding orangery has been used to accommodate a wide variety of functions.
Video & Photoshoot Location
Our orangery showroom has served as an easily adaptable location for both video and photoshoots.
From high end fashion brands to a documentary film maker, the orangery has acted as a backdrop for photographers and filmmakers, looking for a flexible but eye-catching venue.
Business Networking Venue
Whilst networking evenings might have had to take a back seat during the pandemic, this type of in-person business event is now back with, if anything, increasing demand – as the desire to get away from Zoom and get back to social occasions continues.
The orangery has hosted numerous, well-attended networking evenings over the years, usually involving a leading array of architects, contractors, designers, suppliers and property industry professionals.
These events combine lively discussion with an informal atmosphere, ensuring connections can be made in a relaxed setting.
Wedding Venue
As an intimate venue for smaller weddings, there is nothing quite like dining in an orangery.
Whether a daytime celebration or an atmospheric evening party, a traditional orangery is becoming an increasingly popular choice as a wedding venue.
Furthermore, some hospitality venues are extended their facilities by an adding a bespoke orangery to serve as a purpose-built wedding venue, as was the case with the orangery addition at the luxury Clevedon Hall.
Business Meetings
Whilst there might be plenty of potential locations in this part of London to host business meetings, few will have the draw of an orangery.
Here at David Salisbury, we host periodic meetings with our nationwide team of sales designers, in the orangery.
It has also served as a venue for different types of business meetings, from new product launches to CPD workshops, as illustrated below.
Private Party Venue
Finally, the orangery can act as the ideal venue for a smaller private party.
From significant birthdays or anniversaries to almost any different type of luxurious celebration, whatever the particular requirement, hosting it within an orangery will ensure a memorable event for everyone attending.
Of course, the primary function of our Chelsea showroom orangery is to increase awareness and demonstrate the superior quality of our bespoke timber orangeries and garden rooms.
The distinctive design features of our showroom are available to view 7 days a week, but we recommend booking an appointment for a more personal visit.
