We’re very proud to launch our new oak video, which tells the story of the quality, pride and passion that goes into every oak building that we design and build.
This short film is the culmination of shooting at a number of both residential and commercial sites, which feature our oak buildings, as well as showcasing our factory and the very latest machinery that is continuing to push the boundaries of the UK joinery industry.
Our latest video highlights the quality of our oak manufacturing and underlines the superior specification of every oak framed orangery or garden room that we manufacture.
The Quality of Our Materials
Working closely with our suppliers, we only select the finest quality European Oak from sustainably managed forests, which are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certified.
Oak is an incredibly durable timber, full of rustic character, making it an ideal building material – but like any timber, different grades are available.
Every David Salisbury oak framed building is manufactured from ‘Air Dried Oak,’ which is the best choice for an orangery or garden room. The oak beams we use are air dried for between 7 – 8 years before being machined, making them more stable and durable, than lesser grades of oak (such as ‘Green Oak,’ for example).
