This fascinating family house is believed to be a hunting lodge for King Henry VIII and is set among the charming Bedfordshire countryside.
ORANGERY FOR HISTORICAL TUDOR HOME
Like many pre-Tudor houses, it was quite dark inside. The addition of a David Salisbury orangery has delighted the owners letting the light and sunshine into the home.
We have opened up an existing room to create a beautiful sunny dining area that has open plan access to the kitchen.

This kitchen orangery has become a busy family dining space which allows views of the raised, landscaped garden.

Finished in Pebble White, David Salisbury provided the full service, including planning consent – an essential provision when dealing with listed and period houses.

He has always held a passion for design and has been working in the UK for over 15 years now in the orangery and conservatory industry. His career with David Salisbury began in April 2010, after spending a few years working for a competitor. Rudy has a natural creative flair and this shows in his designs. If you’re stuck for ideas, Rudy will give you a thousand!
To list one project as a favourite is hard for Rudy as each project is so different and each has their own style, quirks, creative energy, and challenges. Rudy treats all projects with the same level of enthusiasm and creativity as the next.
