This fascinating family house is believed to be a hunting lodge for King Henry VIII and is set among the charming Bedfordshire countryside. Like many pre-Tudor houses, it was quite dark inside. The addition of a David Salisbury orangery has delighted the owners letting the light and sunshine into the home. We have opened up an existing room to create a beautiful sunny dining area that has open plan access to the kitchen.
This kitchen orangery has become a busy family dining space which allows views of the raised, landscaped garden. Finished in Pebble White, David Salisbury provided the full service, including planning consent - an essential provision when dealing with listed and period houses.
