Matt Baker

Matt is a product design and manufacturing graduate and joined the company in August 2007. He enjoys the variety of projects that he gets to work on at David Salisbury.

His background before joining us was in large commercial glass and steel structures and he has worked in drawing offices of various disciplines for the last 20 years.

Oliver Camidge

Oly joined David Salisbury in January 2013, having enjoyed a diverse career in the fabrication, woodworking and creative sectors, all of which provide complementary experience for his role in the 3D drawing department.

From involvement in evacuation equipment in the medical industry to electroplating jet engines in the aviation industry, more recently he was part of a team that helped develop and promote inventors’ board games for the toy industry – something similar to Dragons Den!

Oly is now 3D Graphics Drawing Team Leader and a critical part of the sales drawings process, which ensures our sales designers present the best possible 3D drawings to our customers.

Nicola Hazelton

Nicola joined David Salisbury in 2001, having previously worked for Hill Leigh Joinery another local joinery business that is unfortunately now closed. She started with Hill Leigh in 1996, so now has 20 years of experience in joinery & conservatories.

Nic is very fast with her use of CAD and particularly enjoys working on detailed plans. She says that “no job at David Salisbury is the same”.

Alongside her other work, Nicola has recently begun to specialise in producing drawings for planning applications and is taking responsibility for involve in preparing and submitting applications to building control.

Hannah Thomas

Hannah originally trained as a CAD technician in 2003 whilst working for a timber frame company. She went on to produce technical drawings for the manufacture of timber frame buildings and roof trusses.

Joining David Salisbury in 2010 as a member of the CAD team, Hannah has produced concept drawings for the sales team and now technical drawings for manufacture. Hannah likes "the variety of designs that come through the door every day and it’s great to see the final product."

Romina Cassa

Romina is a qualified Architectural Technician from Spain. In previous jobs she took part in the design, cost, planning and site management of a variety of projects, mostly in the housing sector.

One of her latest roles before moving to England and joining us was in a Engineering Office in which handled various types of project, both civil and residential, from inception to completion.

Romina started working for us in July 2015 as a CAD technician and moved to the 3D department after a few months. What she enjoys most about her work is to be able to produce a realistic visualisation of the final product help clients make a decision.

Martin Giles

Martin joined David Salisbury in September 2018 having worked in a number of different creative industry project roles over the last three and a half years. With a degree in 3D Animation, Martin brings a wealth of design and artistic skills to our growing 3D Department.
Alongside his professional workload, Martin likes to maintain a personal portfolio which also ensures he stays up to date with the latest software and production pipelines.

Millie Bright

Millie joined David Salisbury in October 2018, from a previous role within an architectural practice specialising in residential developments. With qualifications in AutoCAD, she is already extremely well versed in the requirements for technical drawings for bespoke properties.
Millie is looking forward to further developing her 3D design skills, across our entire portfolio of structures from orangeries through to garden rooms and conservatories. She joins the 3D department at a time of growth and where David Salisbury is investing in order to continue to retain its position of technological leadership in the industry.

Kristian Vearncombe

Kristian started using 3D programs at the age of 14 and many of his skills and experience are self-taught. His previous experience includes working for a bespoke kitchen company designing kitchens and producing 3D visuals. He also worked at a bespoke storage company designing different storage solutions.

Now in his second spell at David Salisbury, Kristian returned to David Salisbury because of “the people and the 3D team." In his spare time, he enjoys photography, videography and powerlifting.
