Brent House Carvery Orangery Now Open!
20 June 2019
We’re very proud to have supplied Brent House Carvery, something of a local landmark and a destination for good food, with their new oak orangery.
While the great news is that Brent House remained open throughout our installation, the even better news is that the orangery extension is now open for business. Whilst every orangery we design is bespoke and therefore unique by its very nature, we can safely say this project is a little different to any we have completed before.
At the time, this was the largest commercial building and, indeed, David Salisbury’s biggest ever single order. Designed to replace an old and ageing conservatory, this new structure has substantially increased the footprint of the building, allowing the addition of a substantial number of additional tables and chairs – more covers equates to more revenue, obviously a major reason for investing in a commercial building extension like this.
The before and after images shown above really illustrate the transformative effect that this oak extension has had, both for the business and its customers. The finishing touches are now being added, whilst the customer’s contemporary choice of carpet and combination of tables and chairs really give the interior an extra lift.
Whilst we might be biased(!), each visit to Brent House has had a hugely positive impact on our colleagues and team overall – we’re really very lucky to have a project of this prestige and magnitude on our doorstep, being less than 3 miles away from David Salisbury’s head office and factory.
The new oak orangery extension has been open since the early part of June and the feedback from customers of Brent House has been overwhelmingly positive. When we visited early this week, the car park was filling up and the orangery was almost fully booked on a Wednesday lunch time.
This project is the latest in a number of high profile commercial buildings for which David Salisbury has now established an enviable reputation. There are very few joinery businesses here in the UK with the size and expertise to take on projects of this scale. Furthermore, since the Brent House project commenced, we have subsequently gone on to secure orders for a large farm shop & garden centre business and a group of luxury of health spa resorts, of even greater overall value.
We will look forward to sharing news on these in due course but for now, we would like to wish our customer, the owner of Brent House Carvery, and everyone connected to this long-established and highly successful local business, all the very best for the future and the use of their new oak orangery.
See you there – we recommend the carvery!
