David Salisbury Wins Top Fabricator Award
20 December 2017
As we approach Christmas, this time of year is often synonymous with the season for awards.
So it's nice to be sharing news of another important award for David Salisbury. Not long after we were proud winners of the inaugural Express Home & Living Awards 'Best Outdoor Building' supplier, we have been listed among the UK's top 100 fabricators and installers.
Based on an extensive study conducted by Insight Data, this underlines David Salisbury's position as the leading British manufacturer of timber orangeries, conservatories and timber windows & doors, from the quality end of the market.
As a business, we are proud to continue to support the British manufacturing sector. Every single product we produce, from a single timber window to a freestanding solid oak garden room, is made here in the UK - at our state-of-the-art factory in Highbridge, Somerset.
This award was calculated on sales turnover and overall net worth – so being based on empirical evidence, there was no discretionary element to the judging.
As Karen Bell, David Salisbury Sales Director, commented: "[This award] is testament to the whole team, who dedicate every day to designing, selling and producing what we firmly believe are the finest quality timber joinery products available on the UK market."
2017 has been a busy year for the company with the usual mix of a wide range of luxury residential projects, mixed in with some eye-catching commercial projects - which include the Grand Brighton Hotel and the refurbishment of the Cliveden Spa.
Whilst awards always provide welcome recognition for the David Salisbury brand, it is the internal message for staff that often has the biggest impact. As Karen put it: "we are one big team here at David Salisbury, so this award is another achievement we can all rightly be proud of."
So while this remains the time of year for celebration (and for awards!), we wish everyone connected with David Salisbury a very happy Christmas and a successful 2018.
