Investing in technology with our 3D design team

26 January 2018

Investing in the latest technology has always been a subject that this business and David Salisbury personally has held as a guiding principle.
Over the coming weeks, we will cover some of the advances in the latest manufacturing machinery that our factory is now benefitting from but before we do, we thought it worth highlighting the great work that our 3D graphics team is producing.
Whilst the team itself is being invested in, correspondingly, the quality of the conceptual drawings being produced continues to excel.

Once a new customer has received our brochure, the next step is that we organise a complimentary design consultation. One of our nationwide team of designers, visits you in your home to discuss ideas for your project in person.
Following your initial site visit, the design for your new orangery, garden room, oak extension or conservatory is drawn up as a CAD two dimensional plan. From these drawings, along with the photos that will have been taken of the existing property (or ‘host’ building as it is known), our 3d team start to work their magic.

Our new Design Concepts page talks about this process in more detail. With every project or design we work on being completely unique, having a highly accurate and visually representative conceptual drawing is a vital part of how we can ensure each customer completely understands what they can expect.
‘Managing expectations’ is something of a piece of business jargon – we always aim to exceed expectations and the quality of these drawings helps to ensure this.

Head of 3d, Guy Sparey, commented: “We’re pleased to be at the forefront of 3d drawing technologies in the UK conservatory industry. With the team we have assembled here at David Salisbury, there is no reason why this will not continue.”
So if you’re thinking about adding a building extension to your home, speak to the market leader in timber orangeries and conservatories. From the quality of these drawings, and our on-going investments in new technologies, you can be sure of a design that will meet your expectations and provide you with a lifetime of enjoyment.
