With the clocks going forward, is it nearing photo shoot time?
23 March 2018
Now that we’re officially into Spring and with Easter just around the corner, the clocks going forward this weekend ought to signify the end of what has felt like a long Winter.
Of course, some of the impending forecasts for more snow over the Easter holidays might mean we haven’t seen the end of the cold just yet, but the longer days and hopefully some better weather in the not too distant future will mean we can start to think about organising photo shoots again.
Photographing our award-winning orangeries, conservatories and oak buildings is always a rewarding task, especially so on a nice sunny day.
In the very first instance, being able to share the results of these photo shoots with the entire David Salisbury team acts as a great motivator for us to keep on designing and producing the best quality timber orangeries and oak framed extensions available in the UK.
Fashion and design trends evolve over time - see this Blog post on our thoughts for 2018 - which means we are constantly looking to add to our portfolio of photography so that we can showcase our very latest projects. Keep up to date via our ever-popular case studies, which we are adding to regularly.
We’ve included a few examples amongst this Blog of some of our favourite photo shoots of the past year or so. Do you have a favourite?
With a selection of both painted timber and oak extensions to choose from, we think it comes down to context. Our design philosophy is all about ‘working in harmony’ – whether this be the existing property (or host building, as it is known), the surrounding landscape and, of course, your lifestyle needs.
We have a schedule of photo shoots over the coming months to look forward to, including orangeries and garden rooms, kitchen extensions and oak buildings, through to some of our prestigious commercial contracts.
We’ll look forward to sharing new photography with you as it becomes available, but if you can’t wait(!) our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram – are always a good source of inspiration.
Now don’t forget to put your clocks forward this weekend!
