Christmas Jumper Day 2018
14 December 2018
We’re all on board for Christmas Jumper Day, here at David Salisbury head office today! Throw in the fact we’re running a competition for the most decorative office around site, then we’re definitely getting in the festive spirit – whilst we’re still flat out designing and manufacturing our award-winning orangeries and garden rooms.
But before we share some of the fun we had taking photos, we were also raising money for our chosen charity for 2018: In Charley's Memory. A mental health charity founded in memory of Charley Marks, a local boy.
This charity and our fundraising is all about making mental health matter for young people – a subject we felt strongly was an extremely worthy cause to raise money for.
Back to the Christmas Jumpers…
As ever, it was a competitive effort between departments(!!), with everyone joining in.
Going around the head office, Operations Director Wes and our HR Advisor Claire both looked co-ordinated with their matching red nose jumpers! Our Procurement team were certainly full of Christmas joy.
Showcasing our bespoke design skills, our Finishing Shop Supervisor Toby showed you don’t need a Christmas jumper to look properly festive!
Going back upstairs to our Customer Service & Installation departments, we think this team made the most effort and even enjoyed having their photo taken – special thanks to our Technical Manager Dave Churches for being the focal point!
So hopefully we gave Christmas Jumper Day a good go – in the midst of what is still an extremely busy time of year for us. We will be working hard over the next week to continue designing, selling and manufacturing our orangeries, conservatories and garden rooms.
Thanks to everyone that took part – and all those attending the David Salisbury Christmas party tonight, have fun!
