Working with our Jersey-based trade partner, the Style Group, this pleasant period property is just one of many that have benefitted in recent years from new timber windows and doors supplied by David Salisbury Joinery to the Channel Isles.
Given the coastal situation of this home and David Salisbury's expertise in working in such locations, utilising our timber window and door manufacturing expertise made perfect sense for Style. Indeed this is one of many such orders that go out each year to our trade partners, part of a burgeoning relationship that has gone from strength-to-strength over the past 12 years.
Style Group’s customer service excellence and reputation, combined with our bespoke joinery capabilities, has resulted in another winning combination in this case study.
Of course, one of the most effective ways to give a period property a lift and a fresh new look is by renewing the windows and exterior doors.
Whilst wooden windows and doors are pretty much the standard specification for an older property like this, the virtues of timber endure to this day.
The ground floor consists of a combination of external doors and beautifully made sliding sash windows. Our timber window business, whether sash or casement, is enjoying a period of growth and is primed for further development during 2019. Indeed our membership of the Wood Window Alliance (WWA) underlines the quality and durability of our product, providing independent verification of the excellence of our product.
Upstairs on the balcony, we designed and crafted three sets of French doors and two sliding sash windows. On the roof, we have also remade the dormer windows.
A crisp white paint finish rounds off the updated look and feel of this home, whilst blending perfectly with its surroundings.
