Doors for ManufactureOnce the working drawings have been approved, planning (where required) has been passed and the "pre- manufacture" staged payment received, file is then passed to our processing team, who create the detailed information for the production of every timber component part. They also generate the orders for every item that is bought in, such as electric motors for skylights, guttering, double glazing units, handles, hinges and many more.
Simulation of Rafter MouldingA 3D technical drawing of the roof is produced and bespoke software transfers this data to our sophisticated 5-axis machines.
Every conservatory or orangery, has three files sent to the shop floor. One for windows and doors, a second for all roof components, and a third for ancillaries. The first two a re self explanatory, and the third really means "everything else". That is sills, posts pilasters, mouldings etc.
CNC Controlled SawThe most challenging aspect of conservatory and orangery production, is ensuring that all the pieces come at the right place at the right time on site to facilitate a smooth installation. To make this happen the first requirement is that every piece is catagorised and listed correctly and passed to the right department down stream.
It is at this stage that this is done producing at the same time cutting lists, packing and loading lists to check progress at every stage.
