Design ConsultationThe design process can begin in a number of ways, but most often with a visit to your home from one of our experienced conservatory and orangery designers. They will gather your detailed brief, explore ideas with you, and take inspiration from the architecture of your house and the way you live. Then they will then work with you to devise a design concept that brings all this together.
Although we produce most of our own designs in house, we also work with clients' architects, or existing drawings where requested. Often our clients have seen something in a magazine, on the web in our brochure (or a competitors brochure) to give a starting place to the discussion.
There are often considerations that need to be given to Local Authority requirements and we need to take into account any planning or listed building requirements. Inevitably there will be a number of revisions to the scheme during the process, which may result in several drawings and prices being considered.
There are usually two or three design visits before agreement is reached and an order placed. To help with the decision making process, we offer a range of visual representations. There are concept sketches and 2D computer drawings, water colours and 3D models.
We also have many existing customers who are willing to let you view their conservatory or orangery and also to talk about the experience they have had with our company. We know you will be reassured by what they have to say.
In addition to overall appearance there are many other decisions to be made including types of glass heating, flooring, handles and finishes. Our well trained designers understand all these issues and can help with advice and samples of different products.
